Lynx portrait – Quiet Curiosity
I painted this as an exploration not knowing where it would lead. The Lynx has always drawn me in, and I’m not sure why. But there’s something in its stillness, its piercing gaze, that feels like watching without being watched. This small feline standing tall and confident - as he should - was my first large-scale animal piece — a stepping stone, a quiet guardian.
It doesn’t demand understanding.
It simply is.
